I'm serious, this is brutal... I legitimately feel bad for the Democrats.
New Pew Polling that shows the huge swing from 2023 to 2025 (July to July).
18-29 Men: 🔴R+44 18-29 Women: 🔴R+14 30-49 Men: 🔴R+15 30-49 Women: 🔵D+3 50-64 Men: 🔴R+3 50-64 Women: 🔴R+1 65+ Men: 🔵D+6 65+ Women: 🔵D+2
Tweet: https://x.com/ChristianHeie.../1950645127053180950
Essentially:
- Gen-Z... the left has COMPLETELY lost men... and a definite increase to the right for Gen-Z women.
- Millennials ... the majority of men have shifted right, but the Democrats still lost more than that share, as 8 percent of millennial men don't know what party they prefer, but it came directly out of the Democrat percentage. Slight gain for Millennial women to the left.
- Gen-X ... already almost entirely Republican, but Democrats lost women to "undecided."
- Boomers ... slight gain on the left.

I don't think we can compare those two sets of numbers. They are based on different polls. We need to compare the same poll using the same methodology over the time period to compare.

I might feel sorry for some of the Democrat voters who got sucked into what the leadership has become but, no way in hell do I feel sorry for that leadership. At one time, I was a moderate Democrat, my values haven't changed but, the Dem leadership have lost their minds.

I mean, that's the same for me. I voted for Bill Clinton for his second term... it was the first Presidential election that I could vote in. My views have changed a little... but they're largely the same. It's amazing to me how easily the typical Democrat-base can be swayed to support things that are so outlandish. If the old farts like Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelosi said tomorrow that poor people need equal access to pizza... Democratic Underground and people like Patrick and Sydney Mike would be going on and on about the nutritional value of pizza, and how ethnically it was originally for the poor class, and how they have a right to pizza, and blah blah... it would be insane. But this is literally how the left is. So easily swayed.

Maybe Daddy Trump can swing a deal with Pizza Hut and Domino's to offer the "poor class" delicious pizzas at a 1500% discount! The great unwashed can then fill their stomachs and their bank accounts! LOL

Can someone explain to me how Don can promise savings of 500, 800, 1000, 1500 percent on prescription drug prices? By my calculations, that would mean the drug manufacturer would give the consumer the drug for free and also pay them 4,7, 9, 14 times the cost of the drug.

Dude!!! How un-American can you be? Pizza is on of the most nutritious meals you can have. You can eat it for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. It makes a great midnight snack. You can eat it with one hand while tightening your spark plugs. It’s truly one of mankind’s superfoods.
You can put anything on a pizza. Hell, in my younger days in college, I put collard greens and fatback on one. Texas barbecue? On a pizza? Of course! Jambalaya? Done that too. Of course, in those days, I had help with illegal substances that have been rumoured to give you the munchies.
Seriously, Todd, I think you are projecting again. You’re going to have to try harder to irritate me and Patrick than saying that the Democrat base can be easily swayed. If any group is easily swayed it would be the MAGA base. But keep trying. You be you.[This message has been edited by Mike in Sydney (edited 08-07-2025).]

Fun fact... Ronald Reagan was a huge supporter of Pizza Hut in White House functions. Pizza Hut (likely because it was the most popular at the time), was at dozens and dozens of White House functions during the time, and sponsored many of Reagan's initiatives like free personal kids pizza for every book read, and things like that. I'd also say, to argue in favor of a possible future Pelosi/Schumer pizza push... it's very filling, and inexpensive to make... though obviously not that healthy.

Pizza was traditionally the poor man's meal in Italy. It was basically what you ate when you were completely broke... but obviously it became so popular that everyone eats it, and yes, I love pizza.
I keep hearing you and Patrick say "projecting." I don't mean to be a jerk, but I know this is a common thing that psychiatrists tell their left-leaning patients to help them deal with the current times. I know this because I've seen it discussed on Democratic Underground many times before. But I've never seen anyone explain it.
Serious question, can you tell me what exactly it is that I'm projecting?
For the record... I'm not trying to irritate you, though I suspect that's the only reason why you and Patrick are here. The way I perceive you and Patrick being here in this forum is... Trump is in office, things are going his way, it's affecting you personally, you're not happy about it, and you don't know what else to do, and perhaps you're trying to make yourself feel better by trolling those of us here who voted for him. Now, I might be mistaken... but that to me sounds like projection... does it not?

Here's a perfect example. But of course, you won't/can't acknowledge this. No, I'm not being "mean", I'm not trying to be "annoying", I'm not "trolling" you. However, your total lack of personal introspection is truly mind boggling.

I responded to this here: https://www.fiero.nl/forum/...HTML/001449.html#p22
Have to say, if this is your best example, then it's as I expected... this is a coping mechanism for you guys.
Are others here also projecting, or is it just uniquely me, haha...
