Currently driving a 2008 Lingenfelter Escalade EXT, I also have a 1997 Jeep TJ toy that I may sell soon. And last but not least a 1986 Fiero GT project.

Have you ever considered painting over some of the headlight lenses to make it more traditional looking? I've seen it before and it didn't suck. Not that I'm as adamant as some people are about disliking that era of fascia, but it does look better with less window.

The fried egg look doesn't bother me. but they do have fiberglass headlight covers I could buy that make them look like a traditional Porsche. you can also get the front end conversion for a reasonable price as well.
I like the look and if you seen the build thread for that Porsche... its quite the little monster I've been featured on two websites and one magazine. i'm currently swapping in a 3.8 which I used this website for with help and hoping to have a 0-60 monster by spring lol

I am a GM man for sure, for cars owned in the past:
1980 Chevy Custom Deluxe C20 3/4 ton LWB (5.7L 350 with 3+LL manual) 1989 Chevy Caprice (4.3L TBI) 1993 Pontiac Sunbird LE (4Dr Sedan, 2.0L Auto) 2007 Buick Excel (4Dr Sedan, 1.5L Auto) - Owned/Driven in China 2016 Acura MDX SH-AWD Tech (3.5L 9spAuto) Current DD and family hauler 2002 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am CETA (OEM LS1 with 6sp manual) Restoration in progress (hood graphics in a box)
Side by side, daily and weekend (after transmission is fixed)
In high school my mom got a 1967 VW Karmann Ghia I drove for a few months until the cam shaft fell apart, that car was a nightmare to drive. I beat the Sunbird for many years but it was Wisconsin winters that killed it. I am fixing the neglect and age of the WS6 Trans Am and am replacing the clutch now. While my dream car is a 1978 Trans Am, these are just too antiquated to resto-mod on my budget. I would love to get a 1988 GT manual and put a 3800 or similar V-6 in it. The hardest part is convincing my wife of the space needed to store a 3rd car and work on it. ------------------ Pontiac Fan Always wanted one, looking for a decent '88 GT
