I'm changing my headlight motors over to linear actuators and I may sell them as DIY kits. Follow this link for updates ------------------ my 86 2.8 intercooled turbo [URL=http://s16.photobucket.com/user/francis44/media/000_0663_zpsfab72cb2.jpg.html]

I'm interested in hearing more Would they also be able to do low rise setups?

Tell me more...
Right now I have a module from an 88 to control the headlight motors that I want to put in... but linear actuators sounds like a cool idea!

For health reasons, it will be a few weeks before I can get much more done on the project. I'm sure you will like it.

I know the linear motors work well. I just got mine working this week with some low profile projectors I got from a Nissan in the local yard. I installed mine so they are attached to the doors and eliminated the original assembly. The first iteration is here http://www.fiero.nl/forum/Forum2/HTML/142361.html I'm very interested in other solutions. My new setup could use some refinement.
Good luck on trying something different.
