Saw a fiero for sale yesterday in Wesley Chapel FL. From what I could see it looked like it had round molding and padded bumpers. Did I not see it right? What years had a bumper pad ? Thanks Rick

the moldings are part of the bumper pad tooling.....it's all one piece and not changeable unless some bond-0 Master did it by hand.

84~ all models except Indy Pace replica
85~ all models except GT
86~ only coupe and sport coupe.
These all had notched side molding and the rectangle black bumper pads on front and back bumper.
In 87, the coupe bumper was changed and lost the rectangular black pads and was given round smooth side molding. The latter was available on:
87~ only coupe and sport coupe.

Bumperpad cars were only available in 84 and 85.

The base model 1986 Fiero was also a bumper pad car (coupe and sport coupe). The SE model and the new GT model were not.
