As most of you know by now, I sold my 88 Formula to a fellow PFF member called "tiretread"
http://www.fiero.nl/forum/Forum1/HTML/098708.html
The reason for this post is to explore the possible sale of my Blue 87 GT along with it's enclosed trailer.
Going to talk about some personal stuff first, I don't mind sharing with my friends here.
Long story short, my three sisters and I are looking to sell our late mothers home, which we all equally own.
The homes I've been looking for were geared to having a 3 car garage in order to house the Blue GT, trailer and the Suburban tow rig.
Still reading ? Here's where I get to the point.
If anyone was interested in buying the GT, let me know. If I didn't have it, I could look for a home in a better price range.
I love the car, but saving money on a home that I am buying by myself is a huge reason for this exploratory posting.
Price ? Haven't exactly nailed that down, with 1760 miles, I'd ask for an amount that would be beyond most members , including myself.
Saw one that went for 17,500 with 800 miles. I wouldn't be asking that much, a couple of thousand less.
If interested, post here or PM me. Any PM's will be kepted private.
The car is all stock. Following video was taken 9 years ago, the paint still looks this way, as it's been inside the trailer the whole time.

Thanks for any interest. - Dave

I would say it will be a very hard sell. That 17 grand car you are talking about was an 88 T top car. It is generaly accepted that the 88 is the "car to have" and a T top car is even better. Personally I would mark that sale up as a fluke, but that is just me. List it and see what happens, worst is you get a bunch of low ball offers and you ignore them or say no. You are going to need better pictures of the car, that video does not show much of the car. What trailer is it in and are you thinking of selling them as a pair? Good luck with what ever you decide.

That price sounds very reasonable to me. With that low a mileage, if the car is in showroom condition, it would not surprise me to bring $15-20K at auction.

I'm sure the right person is out there to waiting to buy your beautiful car for your asking price. But it might take a while. In a world where Fox Body mustangs are reaching northward of 20k (and one just sold for over 100,000k) I don't see why your car couldn't fetch your asking price....eventually.
I was seriously surprised reading this thread though. I know how much you love that car!

Why not buy a house with the smaller garage, and then have a "disconnected" garage built, behind the house? Would surely be easier than finding a house to hold "everything".

The trailer was customer made to an 80" height in-order to fit inside of the normal home garage.

I'm exploring the possibility, I still love the car, it has been inside the trailer inside the garage for a number of years.
