Hey at least he's doing his own modifications. No sense in bashing it folks. Its all some of you do.

Not bashing, just an opinion. Was never a fan of the louvred look.
If that's what he likes, I'm glad he found them and is happy.
To each his own, that's what it's about.

It looks pretty good.......I had not thought of the links that lift it while lifting the decklid. I would be curious to see what affect this has on aerodynamics; The Fiero has a real problem with the vertical rear window creating vacuum on the top of the decklid, creating lift.....Some air is drawn up thru the vents from the engine bay, but that is just proof of the vacuum.....A number of newer mid-engine cars have a fastback window and then vent the engine compartment air thru the rear of the body.

This may possibly cut back on decklid lift.........

Had Hammond louvers on my 1979 Chev Monza Spyder. Liked 'em.

Hammond louvers were available for the Fiero. I think they look OK...

Yeah I figure it'd help aero a bit if nothing else, problem is finding these louvers...

Always loved the way these type of louvers looked on 1969/1970 Mach 1's , these don't look so bad to me but I wouldn't put them on my GT. Neat to know they were once offered though.
