Where Are They Now ? (Page 2/4)

Lots of people just got tired of all the drama - even in the Tech section - and left. I can't say that I blame them, but still...

Maryjane posted in another thread, that we haven't seen Hugh in a long time. I hope he's doing well. I had his email, but couldn't find it, earlier.

Saxman is alive and well, and one of my Farcebook friends. But yeah, he's no longer into Fieros, except for maybe a fond nostalgia.

Let him know I wish him well.

I thought I recall Hugh posting years ago that he was selling his V8 Fiero due to health concerns... but I hope I'm wrong about that.

In the forum, members list there are thousands of names but today only a few hundred are posting. Maybe there are more lurkers than posters. I look at the forum being superior to social media as it's so much easier to look up past articles and posts. Facebook that people love so much sells your personal information; not for me.

Not on as long as others, but it's been a while. A lot of good builders have come and gone. Miss a few...

PFF is still the best place to look up and do a build thread.

I'm sure that's true of pretty much all forums; only a small percentage of members do most of the posting and the number of members with zero posts is very large. But yeah, the rise of Facebook killed off a great many vary good forums (all kinds of subject matter, not just cars) and along with them went the superior search and archiving abilities that forums have, much better than Facebook.

He had a rebody, right? I saw this car (which I think was his) about 2-3 years ago, on display in front of a quickie lube here in IL. Looking back, I should have stopped in and asked what was up with it, because it disappeared without a trace soon afterward.

So Hi to everybody,I'm still here at 82,no longer have a Fiero but lurk here to see what's going on with the Fiero's.I loved building Fiero's that people said couldn't be done.Buildt my Aldino in the early 90's when parts were not available. That had a supercharged Buick 3.8 that dynoed at 376 hp at the rear wheels on premium gas. Then in the early 2000's I buildt an Imsa wide body wtth a LS 427 cu. in engine that dynoed at 621 hp at the engine. That did 10.5 at 130 mph at the strip, again on premium gas.It was fun and made a lot of friends.Fiero people are great as is this Forum. Thanks Cliff '''''
