BTW: When searching for "Strattec Part Search" on the internet...
The only Strattec Fiero Trunk/Deck Lock offered is #700508 for the "base" model with two mounting holes. https://aftermarket.strattec.com/product-finder
RockAuto shows the same Trunk/Deck Lock options on a V6 as Parts Geek has.

quote | jsheck52 said in 11-30-2016 I'm having trouble finding a replacement {GT Deck Lid} lock. It seems that the notch-back deck lid locks are easy to come by, but not the fast-backs'. Anyone have any idea where I could find one or modify any other lock to work? |

quote | viperine: Fastback deck locks are available alone on eBay, with the occasional set popping up once in a while (trunk and 2 door locks with a matched key). Search for those that only fit 86 to 88. |

It looks like that you found the correct trunk lock for a fastback, and you don't have many options on the cost.....

I was able to simply replace the old cylinder with the cylinder of the notchback lock. Took a bit of Dremel work to get the old cylinder out, but the new cylinders fits and works perfectly.
