Too funny for words. Apparently Palestinians have been calling US voters encouraging them to support Osama in the next election. Ahmed Yousef, leader of the Hamas group, has also thrown their support behind the democratic candidate.

Wasn't he the one being supported (to much complaining from him, lol!) by one of the Islamic-extremist leaders here in the US?

Iirc, this was a "good" friend of his former pastor as well...Go figure.

How can people be so completely BLIND to still support this jerk?

It's called Obama-aid. Its chalk full of good things like hope and change. And just like coke zero has no calories Obama has no real hope or change to offer. Buy a 6 pack and share the cult of personality with friends. Remember not voting for the black guy makes you a racist!

1999, President Clinton also pardoned 16 violent Puerto Rican nationalists responsible for more than 100 bombings of U.S. political and military installations, after they promised to renounce violence. The attacks reportedly killed six people and wounded dozens more. In justifying the pardons, President Clinton noted none of the men had been convicted of crimes that resulted in death or injuries.

And some wonder why I see "former" President Clinton in a less than complimentary manner.

Back on topic, if you want a socialist in the White House, vote for either of the leading Dems. The way I see this election, we have two Socialist candidates and one mid-range liberal. I always vote, I just don't care for my choices this election. Senator McCain is head and shoulders above the other candidates but way to Liberal in my mind.

Ron

John McCain's choice to manage the GOP convention this summer is lobbyist Doug Goodyear, whose firm once represented Burma's repressive regime.
[snip]
Ironically, Goodyear was chosen for the post after the McCain campaign nixed another candidate, Paul Manafort, who runs a lobbying firm with McCain's campaign manager, Rick Davis. The prospect of choosing Manafort created anxiety in the campaign because of his long history of representing controversial foreign clients, including Philippine dictator Ferdinand Marcos. More recently, he served as chief political consultant to Viktor Yanukovich, the former Ukrainian prime minister who has been widely criticized for alleged corruption and for his close ties to Russia's Vladimir Putin—a potential embarrassment for McCain, who in 2007 called Putin a "totalitarian dictator." "The Ukrainian stuff was viewed as too much," says one McCain strategist, who asked not to be identified discussing the matter. Manafort did not return calls for comment.

ha!

I'm more surprised they wouldn't throw their support behind mccain. 100 years in iraq... closing gitmo and eliminating "torture"... What more could they want???

This is a serious question though, and I haven't looked at the links. Presumably "terrorists" means al qaeda, but I might be wrong. But if a terrorist group supports one particular candidate, and that candidate wins..... No more terrorism?

You're joking right?? I mean you gotta be kidding. You are seriously trying to compare a lawyer who represented a despotic government in the same way as a defense attorney represents a murder suspect, to a man who BOMBED the Pentagon and injured 7 people???

Please Uranus, tell me I am just missing the joke.

When you post the news report of known terrorists contributing to his campaign, or having dinner at his house, or exchanging Christmas cards we'll both know.

I never said one word about anything being biased. I just think it's funny how everyone spews their opinions thinking it's going to change mine or actually make a difference. Either candidate will screw the country royally so theirs no point in getting your panties in a bunch over some new article or new event..because it just doesn't matter.

Looks like Osama got busted. Just like his flippant comments about NAFTA and the Rev. Wright incident, Osama is now backpeddling and claiming he would never support Hama's, even after admitting that one of his political advisors had been meeting with the anti-Israeli group. Like the Rev. Wright incident, little Osama says he didn't know about the his advisors ongoing discussions with the group.

http://www.suntimes.com/new...-NWS-Sweet11.article

http://blog.washingtonpost....ied_to_hamas_me.html

But I supposed these are biased news sights as well, and are you just out to smear little Osama as well.

BTW, that other news posted by Hugh in regards to the Palestinian phone banking polling Americans, here is more on that as well. But once again, you will probably just write Al Jezeera off as a biased news source as well.

The only change this Manchurian candidate wants is to Islamify the United States, and liberals like yourself are doing everything you can to enable him. Congrats! Maybe some day your wife and daughters will be conformed to wearing Burkahs, or even more shockingly, stoned in the streets for some crime against Islam. Then you can finally pat yourself on the back and say "Yes, we did it!".

With a comment like that, I hope you don't pretend to call yourself an American.

Calling your Commander and Chief a terrorist should be punishable by death or deportation - which ever would cost the taxpayers less...

You guys do realize that when you get that high up in the food chain almost EVERY relationship you have can be spun one way or the other.

Maybe , just maybe , , given his backround, he might do the US some good in the wold view, and get the crosshairs off us with regard to terrorists, while at the same time, helping out middle & lower class America.

Doesn't really matter if you hate him or love him, another POV on this is that he may be the first black president, but he will likely have to fight congress and the senate tooth and nail to get what he wants.

Wow. A reasonable, non-inflammatory political viewpoint? Are you allowed to do that here?

I don't know if Hamas supporting Obama is true or not, but it wouldn't surprise me. Of all the candidates running, he is the one they would most likely see as potentially sympathetic to their positions.

I don't care for Obama, but it's nice to read a rational political post, even if I disagree with it.

To me, Obama doesn't need to be smeared to be feared.

Agree with you on the relationship part.

I'm not sure what about his background would make him do the US some good in the world view. The "crosshairs" were on us BEFORE Bush was president. They were "on us" during the Clinton administration. They will be on us unless we support their causes--which includes the complete removal of jews from Israel and giving muslims the land. Are you supportive of that? Is Obama?

Here is another POV. If Obama is black, then he is white. Half his genetics are from a white woman. Me personally not being racist, I don't care if he is black or white. I just like to be scientifically accurate. However, since he VOLUNTARILY attended a black liberation theology based church for TWO DECADES, he has decided to approach life from the 'white people are evil, black people are oppressed' point of view.

Since jews are considered part of the white evil control group, what do YOU think his sympathies are going to lie with?

And THAT is why people are concerned about things like what was brought up in this thread.

Now, is Obama going to blatantly attack Israel? Of course not. He is too politically smart to try that. But is he going to have meetings with terrorist leaders, be sympathetic to their causes, and implement whatever policies he can to favor them over jews? From what I have been able to assess about Obama, who he is as a person, who he talks to, who he doesn't talk to, etc. I have to say yes.

Some of you might like a president with that point of view. If you do, you know for whom to vote.

BTW, at least if Obama wins the democratic primary, I will only be a racist and not a male chauvinist.

the manchurian candidate is McCain. and Islamify? Why would Obama (a CHRISTIAN) want to Islamify the US? get your head out of your ass. I'm no democrat but it's become painfully clear to me that stupidity/borderline retardation crosses partisan lines.
