1988 gt stock 2.8 auto..
New battery,new starter,new cables..starter engages but doesn't turn over so guessing since the car has been sitting of its life..thinking a ground body wire could be rusted.
Any idea....m..

a body ground won't affect a starter. I am guessing that your new starter is not shimmed correctly.

Can you turn the engine over by hand? (large socket or wrench on the bolt on the crankshaft pulley. Turn it clockwise)
