I recently bought a 1985 Fiero 2.5 with a 5 speed when I got it it was running fine and since then I put about 300-350 miles on it. Recently the check engine light came on (code 35) so I changed the plugs and wires then it shut off and was fine for the last 100-150 miles. Now when I am sitting at a light or in traffic the light comes on sometimes but if I rev the engine or start moving it goes out. Not it wont start unless my foot is on the gas peddle when it starts it smells really rich and blue smoke comes from the exhaust and it has a huge loss of power and has code 35 again. Anyone think this could be the EGR? When I bought the car the last owner said it wasn't driven on the road in 2 years but he started it up and moved it around about once a month.

First thing I would look at is low fuel pressure. You need to get creative to read the Duke fuel pressure....you can search the archives to find instructions.
