since im switching my 84 4speed with my 86 gt 4 speed trans. in my 3800sc project. I guess the 86 trans doesn't have the shifter cables bracket like the 84 does. can someone tell me where to find this or how to mount them now?? iv looked on here and seen it one time but cant find it now.. thanks.

Perhaps I've misunderstood your question, but the V6 4-speed's cable mounts are indeed different than those on the '84 4-speed. The '86 cable mounts look like this:

Thanks but i mean Dont i need some of special custom bracket becuase the shift cables cant clear the cross over exhaust pipe on 3800sc engine
