Hello all.

Thought I would post a few pics and info on my keyless, RFID and electronic shift system..

Well I've been very happy with my RFID push button start system I've been using so it's time to remove the ignition lock cylinder and mounting boss. I think it looks much better with out it! What do you think?

This is all it takes now to operate the car now. I plan to embed the RFID Tag in the key fob if it will fit or in a cover for the remote fob. I also have a smaller remote fob when I don't need the 2-way paging feature.

Along with the push button start I also removed my automatic shifter assembly and designed a custom electronic push button shift for Park, Reverse, Neutral & Drive. The photo below is the new bezel I'm finishing up on to replace the trunk release & rear defroster button bezel. It has 4 buttons for the shifting and the larger button is for the push button start. This will replace the temporary buttons I've been using for testing and working the bugs out.

I've been running the push button shift for awhile now and feel it's time to make it look like it should. All the buttons are going to be custom made & back lit. I will post a photo as things progress on this.

If you don't already know the car has shaved door handles and Lambo style doors. I have a few more tricks up my sleeve on them coming but that will be another day.

Have you simply eliminated the steering wheel lock then (never mind the "don't start in gear" assembly)?

Thanks everyone! Oh this has so much changed in this car nothing is stock anymore.. No lock cylinder or steering lock. The anti start in gear is handled by a custom interface with the trans controller and brake pedal as is the safety for the gear change so it won't change gears if you push the shift button while moving. Right now my temporary trans shifter is wireless, if I take the remote you can't shift the car... LoL my safety no steal feature LoL

Also working on a wireless interface for the stock steering wheel that has 12 channels to control anything I want to from the steering wheel. The system will have 2 buttons on the back of the 2 top spokes for a paddle shifter and the rest on the front of the spokes for auto / video / car pc system.
