won't fire by Phirewire

Was droving home and randomly car started sputfering till death now when trying to start just keeps turning and turning. Any ideas I smell gas I believe it spark. Not sure if timing jump or bad coil\mod\connector

Nice to know what car, and year, and engine, and transmission you know...the things one needs to troubleshoot a car over the internet. Does the tach bounce when you turn it over? Sounds like the ICM took a ****

Sorry 1 am after 12 hour shift iinda a bad mood its v6 auto and mo it doesn't bounce
