Anyone know a good place to get some paint for the fake brushed silver trim around the radio/gauge cluster and shifter? Mine is in need of redoing and figured I'd do all at once.
Thanks in advance,
Tate

That may not be paint at all, but vacuum-metalized on the back surface.....can't remember the particular color, but back then a lot of silver-gray paints were called 'argent'.

It will be quite difficult to recreate the brushed look, I would look for used replacement pieces in the Mall.
What year?

I would think that vinyl overlays would be something that people would be interested in.... it could replicate the brushed look.

So If I said I'll just paint them silver and not worry about the fake brushed look, anyone know what silver would be close to stock color?

Dash kit

This is a very attractive alternative, if you're willing to forgo the brushed aluminum.

Cool, I would have thougvht maybe a fat paint brush dragged across it, but achieving a uniform look would seem quite tricky.
