Hello, search Hickory, and Sonics on this site. We had a nice little get together a few weeks ago. Eight cars and a few extra owners. We'll do it again soon. Pictures of the meet are on there.

My wife is from NC but unless one of you guys bought her car for parts in Cary NC in 05 you have never seen it. Maybe one day we can drive the Fiero I bought for her up there to visit her family sometime. We are thinking about paining it Tarheel Blue.
Just found this post the other day and have been meaning to reply, what reminded me to do so, was when I think I saw your car heading north on US1, Anyway I'm also in Wake Forest, I have (1) 88GT that I bought back in 1988 and (1) 88 Formula I bought a couple years ago for a project car. The 88GT is going through a little (face lift) right now and the Formula isnt currently registerd, so nether is on the road. I keep my eye out agian for your car.
little (face lift) = 3" Chop, Vert Doors, 13" brakes & body rework +some other tricks
I live literally on the border between Raleigh and Garner. So, yeah. There are a few of us NC guys. Would be cool if the bunch of us could at some point get together and head up to VIR.

Would you happen to have an '88 tilt/manual transmission steering column or a couple of '88 grey vinyl door pockets?
Unfortunately no. Most of what i have are 84'ish parts. I mainly have stuff like light grey seat belts. Drivers mirror. Drivers door panel with pocket (light grey, man. mirror). Light grey center console, some ribbed beltline trim and a couple other odds and ends.
Originally from Fayetteville & Charlotte. Now in Bathurst, New South Wales 100-miles west of Sydney along with both of my GT's. (Don't ask, it wasn't cheap!) Hard to find parts so I bring crates of spares back with me when I visit the folks in NC.

Did you have to convert them to right-hand drive?
