At last the day has come. They called us yesterday to come go over the car. There were a few spots where the got blue on the trim or black over spray on the blue but nothing too bad. They said they couldn't fill in the holes for the license plate bracket because the bumper flexes too much and if the front end was bumped or anything bumped it the filler would crack or fall out. I know there are ways to do this they just didn't want to take the time. Overall I am happy with it and most importantly Becca is happy with it. They are fixing up a few things on it today and we will be installing the rockers and trim pieces ourselves.

Sorry most of the pictures are taken from inside with bad lighting but there will be a lot more to come I promise.

We were a little worried about the blue and tan but I think it looks good.

That blue clashes with the tan interior, you need me take the car off your hands.

Looks good!

Thanks Cheever, We were excited to get the paint as well. That was one thing Becca wanted to change from the begging since we live in Texas and black draws the heat in.

Well I will post a few more later but we have it back together mostly and have been driving it a bit. Still some flaws in the paint we need to have addressed but hopefully they will straighten it out.

Well Becca and I rushed to put the car back together so we could drive in the 4th of July parade. The paint is still really soft so I didn't want to put anything directly on the paint.

After the parade we all went to Mighty Fine burger and talked about our next club meeting. On the way back out to the cars we noticed how much our cars stood out with the other newer cars and the bland colors they all come in. The orange car has a crate 350 in it, the burgundy one has a 2.8 with a cam, aluminum 4 barrel intake and carb.
