Been very busy over the holidays. I think about coming every weekend, but, just haven't made it back out there yet. In case anyone local can help, I broke my shifter in my daily driver yesterday :/ Come look and laugh at my collection of now 5 sitting Fieros and maybe bring a spare shifter assembly for me to swap out? (At least 2 of them are in a heated garage, if that helps...)
got a spare handle I was going to have recovered you can use until a suitable replacement arises--you have to come and get it though--I have manifold off
Thanks Pat! PM me address and when might be a good time. I am looking to see what generic options I might have from a local parts store.
Steve, I think is the lever inside the handle. I'll know more later tonight or tomorrow morning when I get the chance to take the handle off and look inside.
Pat's car is in a state of mild disassembly. Snowing in Stafford / Don't think I'll be out. Can't ge warm fast enough for me. Keith (our new club founder) has a 3800SC that is very well done so let's hope it's better next week. Steve
what do you mean mild?---car wont run at all the way I got it apart---plan on fixing it only once!!!--get rid of this flu and snow---I will be out there getting it done!
You guys didn't miss anything. Only 5 of us showed up today. We figure everyone else is either getting ready for the superbowl or went to the DC Auto Show.
Keith has indicated he will be attending --- Silver Bullitt are you going to be there? If anyone from the DC MD VA area is interested - check out http://carlovedc.com Sunday at Kohls for address and Pic's of past C&C's
Charlie, I'm glad you are enjoying your car as much as possible. It was definitely one of the most fun cars to build.
Dave
Thanks Dave. I'm really enjoying driving it as well as the attention and compliments I've been getting about the car. Looking forward to showing off your work down at Daytona!
Well...there were two of us that braved the cold this morning...
Unfortunately I can't say my trip there was without incident...
After watching my GoPro video I see exactly where it broke off (westbound on 66 just east of Nutley) Looks like I'll be ordering another from the Fiero Store. At least it happend now and not on the way to Daytona.

Just started to drive my 85GT to work every day. I would like to meet up with some of you guys to check out your rides and maybe get a line on some parts that I need. When are ya'll meeting again??? I live down in Locust Grove.
Welcome Redrum. At this time we try to get together on Sundays at the Cars and Coffee at Kohl’s in Fair Lakes. Keith has also started the central VA FIERO club. http://mayor2020.wix.com/fierosforever Please join as the price is just right for FIERO owners as in FREE. We hope to support a number of events local to Fredericksburg and as spring arrives we will post a list of local events. Also check out http://carlovedc.com/ Great calendar of events and photos of the meet ups! In the Fredericksburg area Friday Night at VA BBQ (cruise in) and on Saturday in Garrisonville at the home depot. They usually start in April. What parts do you need?
RIght now I need a rear bumper cover for my 85 GT and a V6 tach. I have taken my 72 Dart to Virginia BBQ one time last year and I have been to the BK at Nokesville with my wife's 2012 Challenger a few times. I did see a purple Fiero at Virginia BBQ, and to be honest with you, that got me on my search for a Fiero.
Redrum I have a V-6 tach that is priced right -- as in yours for the taking. My up coming weekend schedule is up in the air at this time but when we get together I'll get it to you. Steve
I hope to be coming back soon---I have a bad exhaust leak---doing the front manifold now---with the engine still in the car--so you can see I have no easy job--hope to see you all soon
