I don't know about anybody else, but I'd like to know what this suspension setup is on?

...oh, and amazing progress on the Fiero. I wish I had that motivation and ingenuity, haha.

EDIT: 3rd page pwnage. Win.

Hi, 1986 Fiero GT!
That suspension is not from my Fiero. I'm not so rich yet
It's from off-road prototype. It's "Ohlins"

I figured it wasn't on your Fiero...I was just curious what it was on. I had some sort of crazy off-road buggy front cantilever suspension setup in mind. I was partially right, haha? Ohlins makes good stuff.

Amazing job to say the least. Keep up the good work! I just found this thread so let me add my belated "Welcome to the Forum". When you have a chance, tell us a little about yourself; why did you choose English as a second language, where does your interest in cars come from and what attracted you to Fieros?

Fieroseverywhere, yes it's Getrag, but it from '87GT of my fathers friend, who present me this engine.
In original my fiero also was equipped with V6, but I don't know was it Getrag or Isuzu...

revin, yes I know what this book is just a piece of.. paper But I was needed least something to work
Big thanks for links! Will see whats there!

Vernon8360, hmm how to say...
Lets begin from simple: I was learning English at school, but I think there I don't get much knowledge... And learning it now by myself..

My interest for cars... Think I was born with it... Inherited it from my father... And all my life was connected with cars and car building...

What attracted me to fiero? Rather who and what... I think in larger part it was Alex Koulygine and his Plazma. But I need say what I know about Laura 3(thats like kit was called when it was firstly produced) scinse 1995 when was done first Laura 3 car. But I was realy fall in love then I was seen Plazma photos.

I see. Mine is from an 87GT. Yours came with either a 4speed or possibly a Getrag then. Isuzu was 4 cylinder only. Can't wait to see more of your car. You work fast!

I'm not sure if I'm the only one thats wondering..

What is a 5.7L Northstar look like?

I was under the impression at least here in North America that the northstar only came in 4.0l 4.6l and a 4.4LS/C

What did it come out of , and do you have pictures?

I admire your work. You are doing a thorough job. It will be very nice.

I haven't read all the posts, but here are a couple of thoughts if no one else has chipped in.

You can port the Y pipe and exhaust manifolds while they are out of the car. Big improvement in performance.

The header wrap is a very good idea. The stainless steel pipes do not rot under it and it reduces the temperatures under the deck allot.

I see you used the metallic paint on the plenum. It looks nice. I think I would scrape it off the raised parts around "Fiero" and have the raised fins polished shiny aluminum. That aluminum alloy will polish up almost like chrome. But that is a matter of personal preference.

You are really documenting the build well. Any plans for the seats or other interior pieces?

This is it:

First two bottles on photo. Third is spray, but it's not so good.
Acid primer gives more rust resistant. Also using as primer on aluminium. Applied as first layer, before acrylic primer or paint.
