EU officials concluded that, following a three-year investigation, there was no evidence to prove the previously undisputed fact.
Producers of bottled water are now forbidden by law from making the claim and will face a two-year jail sentence if they defy the edict, which comes into force in the UK next month.
I wonder how much they spent on the investigation and how was it conducted to reach such a conclusion.

Cliff edited a post of mine in a way that was disparaging to me. I asked him to either restore my words to what I wrote, or remove my name from the quote tags. He ignored my request, didn't even have the courage to outright refuse. Let me tell you about reality. I've been called many things by forum members here. I've had forum members call friends of mine and tell lies, try to get my friends to continue those lies. I've been blackmailed by forum member, have experienced some very vicious lies and slander on the part of my fellow pff members. Wonder why I consider this a very nasty place? Because it is. I consulted with lawyers on some of the worst slander and libel, it was a waste of money and time. The least useful $450 I've ever spent.

You know, all the things someone who's at least semi-literate does when writing.

First of all, you seem to not know the proper definition of a lie. Second, you're just trying to talk your way out of stepping WAY over the line. Inferring someone is a child molester is NOT funny. I know he 'quoted' you and changed the content. He didn't edit your original post, only you can do that. Anyone can see that its a quote, which is subject to potential manipulation. If he'd found your password and edited one of your posts, or created a new one, I could see your point.
