You got it. Of course, they were still called Rambler back then. I always thought they were cool, and you don't see them very often, even at shows.

That was the only one ever made, and though technically was not offered for sale in the US, it did go to an American buyer.

Nobody has made another guess as to what I posted earlier? It's Japanese, had a different name in the States, and we couldn't buy it with the most powerful engine they offered for the vehicle on this side of the planet.

Wow, the dash looks exactly like a Chevy II, but my first instinct was Rambler American.

68-70 AMC AMX Most likely 68 or 69. I think the 70 had some additional chrome.

This however, is not the same car. I guarantee it is a Chevy II.

If you look carefully, you can see the tops of the shock towers and the inner fenders. Look at the A-pillar and the wing windows.
A Chevy II dash:

I believe you are correct. I took the photos in sequence at HAN in Sparks, Nevada. The one of the interior was the last of the three and I assumed it was the same car by the paint color. Another odd thing about the Chevy, it doesn't have a HAN card in the window which would be visible in the photo if it was there. The interior is what you say so it must be a different car.
The other two photos are of a 68 - 70 AMC AMX. I'm gonna look for that one again this August.

I used to own the Olds that was cut up, or do you mean the Mercury in the parking lot behind it? Or the Dodge pickup, or the Honda? Or the Chevy Colorado across the street? Or the Dodge minivan behind you on the other lane? I can't figure out what's directly behind you, or the Oldsmo-something.

Or the Chevy duallie in the background? Or did you want the names of the RV's?
Be specific dammit!
