I download them from Bittorrent. So far it's been pretty good. The American trip was cool. They finally found American cars they like, "even if they weren't made as well as we would like."

I love Top Gear. My favorite show. In fact, I am watching it on TV right now. I have been watching the newest season, I love it. Why dont they have season DVD's? At least they started selling it on iTunes.

I've downloaded every episode of Top Gear and Top Gear Australia, one of my favourite shows. TGA doesn't have quite the same humor value as the Brit version,. I hear that TG USA has fiished filming, wonder if/when NBC will get around to airing it. Hopefully it won't be as bad as I expect with Adam Carolla hosting...
i love Top Gear, so far my favorite episode is where they came to the US. started in Miami bought cars for $1500 and drove them to New Orleans. very funny...

I like on the newest season when they came to america and drove the Corvette ZR1, CTS-V, and the Challenger SRT-8. They drove from San Francisco to Reno then to Bonneville salt flats. Bunch of funny stuff happens on the way there. Best part of it is, it is three American cars they actually like. Its on youtube. Watch it.
EDIT: Well now that I look, link to it is on the top post.

Yeah, I forgot about towards the end when they write all that stuff on there cars and have a bunch of rednecks after them. When Jeremy came out to the field with a cow on the roof of his Camaro. Priceless.

It's official — Adam Carolla, Tanner Foust and Eric Stromer will be the threesome of hosts for NBC's US version of the greatest driving show ever — Top Gear.
Corolla probably needs no introduction, but if you don't know him, he use to co-host the "Loveline" latenight radio show with Dr. Drew, then he co-hosted "The Man Show" with Jimmy Kimmel. He does a lot of voice-over work, and you've probably heard him as Death on "Family Guy", Spanky the Pig on "Drawn Together", as the "Lance Crackers" guy on Lance Crackers radio commercials and if anyone remembers the old comedy radio shorts "Dingo Boy" - yep, that's him too!
Stromer is most well known for his Carpentry work on several shows on HGTV, the one I remember him from is "Clean Sweep". I hear he also used to be a Soap Opera hunk back in the day, Santa Barbara I think.
Foust is a Racer and won a gold medal at the 2007 X-Games Rally and a championship in the 2007 Formula Drift series, he also hosted the, rather boring, "Supercars: Exposed" show on Speed Channel.
NBC orginally asked Jay Leno to be one of the hosts (a great choice, I can think of no better Great-American "Car Guy") but he turned it down. Leno also doesn't think the show will last long, and I think he's 100% correct:
Being part of the BBC, the original version is not reliant on advertising to stay on the air, so talking smack about a particular automaker and its wares is no biggie. As Leno notes, things work differently at NBC and any episode in which a sponsor gets lambasted would immediately be followed by what The Tonight Show host calls, "the meeting". And then, bye bye sponsors and bye bye show.
Yeah, I forgot about towards the end when they write all that stuff on there cars and have a bunch of rednecks after them. When Jeremy came out to the field with a cow on the roof of his Camaro. Priceless.
Love Top Gear. One of the best shows on the tube IMO.
Anyone know who the Stig is??
Google search for "Who is the Stig" found this answer, I have heard similar tales elswhere:
Since "Top Gear"'s relaunch in 2002 with Clarkson, May and the Hamster there have been two "Stigs". The first Stig wore a black racing suit and was known as "Black Stig". This Stig was played by F1 driver Perry McCarthy, who revealed his identity in his book "Flat Out, Flat Broke" and was then subsequently "killed off" at the start of series three when he was seen to drive very fast off the flight deck of an aircraft carrier and not stop in time. Whether the two events are connected is unknown, but it is quite likely that the Top Gear producers were not happy at his revelation.
From this point onwards the new Stig wore white duds and was known as "White Stig". It is the identity of this newer Stig that remains shrouded in mystery. Many people believe that "White Stig" is not one particular F1 test driver but several, depending on who is available on any given day for filming. This theory is given added weight by the recent Winter Olympics special when the driver performing the ski-jump stunt, ostensibly "The Stig" was later revealed by local Swedish newspapers to be a local snowmobile cross driver. Various F1 drivers have appeared on the show in the "star in a reasonably priced car" segment, and all have denied being the Stig or evaded the question such as Damon Hill. The current theory as espoused by "Daily Express" is that F1 driver Julian Bailey is the Stig, but no-one really knows. That's the whole point!

are you f'in kidding me eric stromer, i always though carolla would be good. tanner foust is pretty good on his show but i think leno is correct. it won't be as funny or last. i though Tommy Kendall would of been a better choice. are they going to have the american version of The Stig?

I hate to say but I wish that they would not do a US show. Top Gear is great do to its hosts and the wat they do there thing. I have watched the AUS version and I hate to say it but it does not hold a candle to the original.
I really do not like using torrents. For some reason Top Gear usually takes anywhere from 4 to 8 hours to download. On average I have to wait 6 hours for something to download off a torrent site, it sucks. Whereas I've downloaded 3 movies and 2 Mechaike specials at once off of Veoh in less than 12 minutes. Go figure.

Yeah I thought the Australian version was abit dry compared to the UK one. Until I started to not compare it directly to Clarkson and Hammond. Now from an Aussie point of view I can appreciate bits of it a bit better.
The Stig is reputed to be Fernando Alonso . They even watch it here in Spain in English, because they think it is Alonso The programme is very funny, and Clarkson is a very good Main Host figure. Have had plenty of laughs from the Show, and last night's was great. The Zonda went round the track faster than a Bugatti Veyron!! That thing looks like a a glorified old Karmann Ghia to me..and as for that 'airbrake'...? I've just written to the Show, asking them to put my Fiero round their track That would be nice I wonder if I get a reply?? Nick

Clarkson is such an ignorant idiot and attention seeker, thats how he has always made a living (alot like the Mayor of London). Personally I can laugh at him and find it amusing. Here is one of his ignorant rants when caught riding a bike http://www.timesonline.co.u...n/article4963194.ece Entertaining reading.
I know who the Stig is. They use a Stig stunt double for the non driving/away filming. He is not an F1 driver/tester.
UK Fiero member Vantastic went to the Top Gear Studios when they did the Alfa Romeo filming, either one of the cars was his or he went there with the owners club.
Cheers PK

Does anyone know perhaps, where I could find just 1 particular Top Gear vid?? I really love that Uk specialty car the Kamala, and I know that they showcased and drove one on Top Gear.... Maybe some day i'll own one, but for now, it would be cool to see one in action... The kamala comes in a couple different flavors, the RT, the KR, and the Futuro...... Not certain on this one, but it may have been the Futuro they had on their show........ This is all there is to go one from my end, Sorry!
IF anyone can help that would be WICKED AWESOME!!
------------------ Me, I sell engines, the cars are for free, I need something to crate the engines in.... Enzo Ferrari....
Aerodynamics are for people who can't build engines.... Enzo Ferrari...

"Look at this, the smoke grenades fit perfectly in the cup holders!"
LMFAO!!!
Yeah. I was impressed it made it all the way to the shore. I wish the Marine had kept firing - all the spent casings were flying into Clarkson's face and lap.
