Ive heard of it before. Too much hastle to get maybe .01 more miles per gallon.

The mythbusters tried this, along with several other fuel saving devices, but found that their two test cars were using More fuel in every case. They did a pretty decent test too, involving a fixed ammount of fuel in a clearly visible container and running the car on a dyno.
