Ok, yes i did a search and yes i know where to get the panels but i dont want solid red lights. does anyone know where to get the 355 style lights with the reverse light in the center.....and preferably ones that dont screw in from the outside? i looked at my neighbors real 355 and the lights are perfect! but.....on ebay they are about 700 dollars so any ideas?

aside from the pisa panel and the kahines panel anyone else make these?

PISA sells the lights with the clear centers for $180.00 for 4. The issue is that they ONLY sell them with the clear centers. You still would have to find solid red ones if you needed them. Also they do screw on from the outside but I have not seen a vendor on here that has the 308 style lights that are authentic.

like this. i looked at the neighbors car the lights are round with a curved face and even shaped top to bottom the panel on the 355 is angled so the lights look longer at the top. i like then look of the lights slightly popped out

Your only option as far as i can see is PISA's corvette taillights that screw into it from the outside.. they dont look so bad either.

You can get LED lights with the red ring and white center from Closer to Wholesale. But they don't "pop out" like the ones you're looking for.

go with 80-82 Corvette lenses. Just paint the screws either black or red and nobody will see them. You can mold them in at any depth you want.

Reminds me of the kahines panel. Its a one piece VS the PISA which I believe is a 2 piece. You could easily do one of those and add the carbon fiber overlay...
http://www.kahines.com/

Ken kahines sells 2 versions of his panel. One has the lights attaching from the outside. The Gen 2 version though attach from the inside. Hope this helps.

Okay, it's time to let one of the cats out of the bag. I have been tinkering with a tail light mod but haven't had time to really do any thing with it. While I had trunk seals in the drying rack today, I worked a little more on my mod. Granted mine use a solid red lens but it is a full 5-14" lens.

I wanted the look of a Ferrari/Corvette light crossed with the stock GT lenses so I came up with these. Using a 5-1/4" holesaw I cut through a stock set of inner lens prisms. I gutted most of the stock socket structure.

I still need to mill the lens holder for the back side of the painted lens.

I shot the colored part of the lens with Krylon Satin Black Plastic paint.

What do you think about these randye?

I am really liking these and thinking of inserting under the stock covers as i have a new set.
Anyone seen these for a better price perhaps? Look great and would give the GT fiero a much more modern look.

Perhaps another idea,Chevy Cobalt tail lights have an angled lens, can be turned to an angle you can use. The lens is all red of course.
One day I hope to put a pair on each side & the backup light in the middle as the turn signal, w/yellow bulb, leave the clear center lens as is.

The gentleman doing the custom inset of red lights in the GT's is cool.

You'll need the 355 lights to get the look you want and go ahead and get the third brake light too, it fits perfectly under the roof ledge. I used the original taillights to house them so they still bolt up like stock.
