Okay guys/girls(Tina) how far do you think a 20x11 rim will stick-out with a Archie/IRM rocker kit? My guess is 1 1/2".
Byw, dont worry about the tire size, it will be a rubber band...295/25/20 P nero zero's. It has the same diameter of a 245/35/19. yeah I know its a Caleeforian thing, strickly for the bling, bling in yah, he,he.
What is P nero zeros. Is that the same as Pirelli P Zeros. I heard those stick like glue. I bought new tires for my Prizm. I asked the guy at Hibdon what some Pzeros would run for my car. He laughed. Anyway I bet they look sweet. Hope you never have to drive here. You will have to swap to 16" rims LOL.
i want to know what kind of offsets work if you try it. i have irm's on an 87 with 255/50-16's that kind of just peek out of the fenders. they're on 7.5" rims with i think a 35mm offset. got another car with irm's that i hope to put 17 or 18x8.5 or 10" (got two sets with both sizes) on the rear (84 with 88 cradle set up. 17x7.5 on front), but since it's not together yet i'm just hoping i can pull it off.
I believe this is the first Fiero with 20s. HRE are custom wheels, which means these wheels were expensive. Suspension and wheels specs would be appreciated. But I don't believe the owner of this car is on the forum, or may not want to reveal the specs. There's a tool out called Wheel Mate, basically it's a tool that fit on the wheel hub and allows you to adjust it to figure out the perfect wheel for your application.

Hmmmmm......hey Choptop, Its me. I'm your 11th cousin (hint), he,he. The spec's for the fronts are a well kept secret. Just ask for Steve 510 567-1888 however, he's at SEMA dealers part show in Las Vegas so give it a week.
Philphine, you can put 19 x 9's up front with 255/30/19 but you'll have to pump-up pecs/triceps to handle it! Oh yeah, before I forget...I've already have them. Besides their only 1" wider than a 19x8 on 225/35/19. Sorry no pics...I'll post them next week.
Back to the original question; how far do you guys think it will stick out in front of the rear wheel with 295/25/20 or 345/25/20's with a IRM kit?

well, like i said, wheel size and offsets aside my 255's just peek out so i'm saying 1.5" for 295's and 3.5" for 345's.
remember too the the irm's only make the front edge of the rear wheel opening wider, the top is still the widest point of the opening. on my longterm project the irms are glassed to the rest of the rear so i'm thinking if i get the wheels on and missing the suspension on the inside, i'll try some kind of fender flare if it stickes out more than i want on the outside. that also means trying to work out something for the part of the opening in the rear that is part of the urethane bumper, but i'm going so slow i don't know when i'll find that out.

Hey thanks Philphine for your response. I also think w/295's would be 1.5" sticking out. However, for the rear bumper I wanted to use a vented/fiberglass molded onto it or flaring it out at the bottom end. I can always fiberglass the top portion of the rear clip above the tire.

17x9-45 should be about as much backspacing as the suspension can fit. Maybe a little more with 20's...
16x8-25 with 255/50-16 tires on my car lines up perfectly with the fenders with -1.5 degrees camber.
So I'd guess that a 20x11-20 would stick out from the fender by 1 1/2 to 1 3/4 inches, and would be set in by 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 inches with a Fiero Warehouse (formerly IRM) widebody, which I've heard gives 3 more inches on each side of the rear.
There may be room for a bit more offset than that. Measure carefully...

Okay I'm going with 295/25/20 tire on a 20x11. 20x11's are exactly 1 1/2" out from my current 20x9.5 This should give the rim a mirror finish. I might go 345/25/20 tires later, although, they look good on the Sellen 7. 295's only weigh 21 Ibs v. 345/25/20's @ 25 Ibs. The fronts are 255/30/19's on 19x9 with Corvett's 13" brakes on all 4's.

In all-n-all i have no clue as to the exact size of the 19x9, 19x8, 20x9.5, and 20x11's offset. I'm joking about it being secret, I would like to share all of mine info on them. Thats what HRE is getting paid for.
However, Steve @ Custon Auto does have the spec's on them. Several members did call and when he got the specs from HRE(I guess they don't like to give out their specs voluntary), the persons never called back.
I didn't think that nobody else would be a mad/crazy to get on a Fiero. But like ever thing else (LT1,LS1), somebody will get around to doing it.
As for the 20x11, all I need to do is call, because of the previous 19x9's or 20x9.5's the exact specs can be based on the two sets. Which, for example; I need a 20x11, add 1 1/2"to the outer lip, based on the 20x9.5 rim specs previouly ordered.
Will a 345 fit on a 20x11? Yes.
A 345 tire fits between 11-13.5" That's why I'm going with 11" that way if I change my mind later, I can switch. A 12" would cause the tire to appear straight w/the rim. 11" will cause the tire to bulge a little. 13" would require a lot of body work. The kit I'm hopping to get is about 1 1/2" out from the body.

MadCurl...I have a question. Look at the picture of the car, I love how the rear wheels and tires look. But the fronts...the offset is different, the tires look like rubber bands. If you used the same offset and tire size in the fronts but on 19's...would it be much different? Cause I like the way the rear end looks, but not the front.

Nahhhh.....2Fast_Fiero. Yes the offsets are different. I wanted a "stagger'd look." Bigger lip in the rear. To get the same outer lip f & r, the fronts would be sticking out past the front spoiler. This problem is evident in all stock 88GT's. GM made it "better" but screwed-up the look.
Also evident in some after market wheels. Me...I like the 60-70's look where the rear tires are big or like todays Viper, NSX, Porsche, and Prowler. The tires though, are just about the same in over-all height. Rears 3.2 and Fronts 3.1. So for me I can't "visually" tell the difference in height, but hey...Both are rubberbands. Tire Rack's 305/25/20 are out of stock. I may have to wait 3-4 wks. However, I will have Songman post some pics of them on the car (thats if Songman is around town).
Anyway I bet they look sweet. Hope you never have to drive here. You will have to swap to 16" rims LOL.
