I'm surprised no one mentioned one of these. Been around a few years already.
$40k-$60k to build. And up of course, depending what you do.

You know, if they really change the corvette THAT much then they should give it another name....its a shame they would take away American history like that

I really wish everyone on here would stop assuming "mid-engine" means "move it to the rear." Because it doesn't. The current Corvette is mid-engined. The term means "placement of the engine between the front and rear axles." And I really doubt that GM would waste money converting the car to RMR at this point in time. Alienating loyal Vette buyers isn't going to make them more money, nor will attempting to compete with the Italians by making a $150K+ supercar out of the Vette.

Cool. That means the Model A and Model T Fords were "mid-engine."
