Here we go thiis will be my latest build. This one I will finish. its going to be done in stages and will take me awhile. When completed I hope to have a deep red 3800sc with custom interior done by me. I am going to take care of the little stuff first then work in one place at a time. Here we go with some photos.

The interior will get my work with it. I needed to start here and fix the drivers window as it was off track replace the inside door handel as it was broken and you could not open the door from the inside

The motor needs a good cleaning for now till swap time. The car only has 60,000 miles on it. It needs a little work as you will see soon.

Headliner Distroyed. I will fix that

front needs some degreasing

All the wheels are rattle can black

Here is the first thing. Lights are there bur there were no motors. can't drive at night

Had a set of complete assemblys that have been sitting outside for 2 years summer and winter not knowing if they worked and The worked A+ Next will be dash lights

Here are the strange things. There are switches throughout the car that I have never seen before so please chime in if you know. In the last photo the switch is hooked up to nothing.

So there is are start. I will update as I can.

Paint is good up to the drivers window and the rear clip is good but the roof is bad.. I am going to paint her and keep the red going on it.

Could try and peel back the loom and follow wires to see where they go. It might not be anything obvious, but maybe a clue?

yes that is the car.

Looks like my VSS might be bad. That could be why we are not at full power when warm or it could be the MAT sensor. thinking more the mat sensor. going to change out the gauge today to test the VSS. Going to put a push button starter in there as well as the key does not turn all the way to crank the motor.

Working a bit on her today. Got all the gauges working as they are supposed to but no lights on the dash yet. Need to track down that short. Tested by laying down a small patch. did not want to smack into the Indy.

Here is a video of how she sounds. Got all the exhaust done and just need one more hanger. You get a good angle here also on how the wing sits now that it is higher. And yes that is me in the video. Belly is getting big from sewing. But keep brining them in.

Going to tackel the front end next. She needs a good cleaning and going over.

How we doing sofar?

jumper power to the G terminal on the ADL. thatll tell you if its the pump or not.

Either way if the relay goes out then its best to swap the pump at the same time so you dont have to in the future

Fuel pump went dead so I Dropped the fuel tank and found that the ground wire in the take was broken loose. fixed that and installed a started swutch. I have a few things flagged online to get when I can afford it next.

did some small work on her before I went in for surgury. I was going to paint her red but my sons as insisting blue so we are going that route,

Took out this

and this

traced these wires all the way to the bottom of the car

when I flip the switch I find no differance in anyway.

When she gets hot she bogs down and I loose power any ideas? I had my surgury so I am all stitched up so cant follow through for the next two weeks but and ides will help

She does not overheat. I took her for a short drive before but now its doing this. I looked at the computer and its got a hypertech chip in it.

Thank you goes to DL10 for helping me out to get some nice shoes for my car. These are also from the GBCT. I got a chance to look her the GBCT very well today and that car is a piece of art. I got to meet his wife as well and she is just as nice as Dave. I think I need to move out his way all the good people that I meet seem to live at least 100 miles from me.

I need to take her for a short drive so the suspention settles a bit. I am still working on the power issue with the car but I have an far fetched idea that I can tackle the next check I get. I have gone a we bit nuts and this is what I have waiting to go in the car at this time. I have to wait till my stomach heals first then I can do some wrenching. here is my list

new style msd blaster coil
accel 5040r plug wires
msd cap
msd rotor
and trying to find so resonably priced ngk or denso plugs for her.

Why all the stuff well I am going to save to put a bottle in her and I dont want it to foul out. She is going to get a 3800sc but I want to push this sexy girl as far as I can before.

Yes I will be painting her myself. I hope to do it this year but I am not sure and there are things here and there on the body that need to get fixed. I have a nice spray gun and I am going to keep her Red like she is supposed to be. I dont want to deal with disassembling the whole car to paint her so I i shoot her right then there should vbe no issues.

Got my ACCEL air filter today for her. I was going to get some accell plugs for her but they are 16.00 a piece and I just dont have that kind of money at all. Last night I had an issue with my GTP slipping so I need to check that out today. I hope she needs a filter change.

So whats going on whith the devil. I have a new shift knob that is on its way that is red with black stiching. Thanks to mmeyer86gt/gtp. If you have not seen his work head over to the mall. He does a great job with the shift knobs for auto and manual. I have two 10 inch exstractor fans on there way. Now I am either going to just mount them to the grills in the rear or I am going to get two small intercoolers and mount them to the grills and then mount the fans to them. They will be controlled by me in the cab of the car. I am going to add a manual switch plate to the car like the PPG car and have two fan switches a battery switch and a starter switch. This will be located under the radio. Then I am going to add another manual switch next to the sig lighter to pull codes and a fuel pump test switch. When I said that I am going all out with this car I ment it. This will be one mean bit(h. I have a ton more ideas as well that are brewing. I am going to cut two coils off the car next week as well in the front I think. I need to save for all th egauges that I am putting in as well. there will be your standard air to fuel gauge, then there will be a vacume gauge and a volt one. on the a pillar there will be two temp gauges one for the left and one for the right fans that are going in, and a NOSW bottle pressure gauge. Yes I will be spraying her at the track. I will start collection the gauges as soon after the trans is fixed in my GTP.

I have recieved the Two fans that are going to go under the vents on the car. If they dont fit there I have a mustang scoop on the way as well and they will go in there to pull the hot air out.

Here is the seude headliner that I put in her today.

Here is one of the gauge pods that is going in. I dont have it wired fully yet as I am waiting to get my EGT gauge and it will fill the third whole

Here is the piler gauge pod. Have to finish the wiring there as well. Need to get the two remaining gauges for that one as well. There is a vacume one in there at this time.

The one pod lit. I still need to run the air/fuel line. I am going to make my own harness to go in the car so I am waiting for everything to be here. I will be able to get the last two gauges in about a week. This is a new brand that I am trying. great prices and looks good.

Just a night shot.

I got them from ebay. Tyoe in JDM GAUGES and they will show up. there is a dealer that sells them for 19.00 a unit and then there are other ones that sells the same ones for 50.00 so keep an eye out for the price on the ones that you get. I will let people know how accurated they are after I get them all hooked up. So if you are looking for some let me be the test pig and I will let you know.

I have to say that I was impressed with how they looked as well. as I was worried do to the price.
