I'm pleased with them, especially in wet conditions. However, anything is better than the crappy "LeMans" tires that it used to have.

I have an 85 SE with a 2.5 and a 5 spd. It currently has 50,000 on its second engine, and 180,000 on the frame. Runs great, gets around 30 MPG, and so far I have had very few problems. I have had to replace the Ignition control mod, starter, battery, and shocks, but I put that down as routine maintenance. I drive about 5-600 miles a week, and it runs like a champ. I do need to get new valve guide seals in it soon, but that again is just maintenance. The really cool thing about it is I pass a guy in a vette on my way to work every day and he always waves and gives me a thumbs up when we meet each other..........its nice to get some respect from that community, lol

Up until this spring I was basically DD'ing an 88 Formula for 13 years. V6/auto trans. Spun a bearing in the engine at 160K which is what killed it this spring. It did need fairly regular repair, but all expected things IMO with the age and mileage. Replacing worn out items (wear items and things like heater core, distributor, etc).

I replaced it with a t-top Formula which is in much better condition and certainly could be daily driven, except for water leaks around the t-tops and side windows.

My DD is now a Volvo C30 T5. My Fiero now serves as my fun weekend toy and hobby.

My daily driver to school is an 86 duke five speed. Bought it 5/09 for six hundred bucks, did some brake work, switched a bunch of things on it for looks, and have driven the snot out of it since. bought with 89000 and now have about 114000. Consistenly getting 35-36 mpg without babying it. Engine has run great with only minor things here and there, such as egr valve gasket blowing, fuel pump. The car goes 120 miles round trip four days a week, hour and fifteen minute ride with no traffic, and sometimes i hit an hours worth of traffic heading towards nyc. My other daily drivers include a 00 silverado 4.3 five speed and an 85 k20 silverado with a lift, in order of their practicallity.
