AFAK, there's nothing wrong with the rat's drive train.. the 383 stroker runs just fine. I've ridden in the dirty rat and the "get up and throw you in the back of the seat" raw horsepower is amazing! It's the targa and BV Motorsports that took the wind out of Chester's sails for that. Honestly though.. I have no idea how it is that Chester was able to maintain himself to not punch Bill square in the mouth. I'd love to see him get motivation to finish the car.. so close to being done.. yet so far away

Chester's long gone from the Fiero world. He parted the Rat out and sold everything he had off.
Haven't heard anything exciting from the "new" owner of the engine - I think it was someone here.

No votes for my 88coupe eh? I suppose its not the best looking car, but I would like to think it is the fastest (although currently not the "quickest"). I like stock 88coupes myself...The transmission and motor setup is fairly top notch, and has solid low 9 second passes in it with a different turbo and some better tires. Might need some tweaks to get the launch solid enough to do the real fast times.

Does anyone have a link to an "ignore a member" function? I'm done fed up with his self righteous know-it-all attitude in nearly EVERY SINGLE POST.
As for the Fiero question, it's hard to say, but it must have a turbo. Oh, and it can't have a chop or a 3800, they aren't my style. That doesn't leave too many, but I can think of a few. Darn it, now I've gotta find a pic of one of them.
That is one of the coolest looking notchies I've ever seen! I would love one of those too. BMWguru's orange/black GT and yellowstones are also personal favourites of mine.
I'm not really a fan of the overly customized Fieros, I really appreciate the ones that maintain the stock look and still manage to go really fast. Especially those with an engine swap that looks as though it came from the factory like that.
Bloozberry's 308 "Stinger" would top the list of replica Fiero's for me so that would be the one I'd buy for sure

Not one to air my troubles on the internet. The last 6 years have been trying to say the least. Work and health issues with myself as well as Renee have forced us to put things on hold. But be assured that we are alive and kicking and lurk on here every now and again.
