Ok, FINALLY got this stuff painted today after almost a year and a half! Thanks to Lildevil for painting everything and the idea for the headlight door. It was 105 degrees in the shop today and even hotter in the paint booth. We were at the shop from 9am-7pm and I have to go back tomorrow to get the car put back together. Hope to have "finished product" pics tomorrow nite. The BUILD THREAD is here:
https://www.fiero.nl/forum/Forum1/HTML/067209.html
So here you go, the color is Ultra Violet Metallic, with a little added pearls to it, Lildevil did it, don't know the specifics:
HEAD LIGHT DOORS

------------------

1988 Purple Fiero GTw/SC3800 conversion
Best ET with 3.0 pulley,XPHOT cam, SS I/C and 105lb Valve springs: 12.38@110mph
Best 60 Foot ever: 1.699

Which mesh did you buy from the custom car grill place. I see they have hexagon, diamond, oval? Did you use it behind your sidescoops also.

I posted in your build thread, but I'll say more in here...

You both do amazingly beautiful, tasteful, artful work.

OOC, is the new color the exact same as the old, or slightly different? It's hard to tell.

The color on the hood, bumper and roof is a slighty different color then the rest of the car. I mean its the same color, but Lildevil added some different pearls. You really can't tell the difference unless you knpw what you are looking for. There is alittle more blue in it. But he faded into the old paint(blend) so you can't not see the difference at all.

thats the only purple car I've ever thought looked great. over the top man - way over.

Those side scoops are the perfect match to the hood scoops too.

I've been considering that front fascia, so if you could take a picture, on a street off the grass, from the side that shows how it lines up to the rest of the ground effects I would really appreciate it!

Isn't that insanely hard to do perfectly with pearls? And he did! (I might not understand that correctly, though)
How much would/does he charge for a nice paint job like that on a GT except in plain ol' Tuxedo Black? Prepwork already done, that is, just the primer/BC/CC.
