Thanks for the references... I did install mine myself - which is why it's not 100% flawless... but most people will tell you that it's certainly good enough (many don't see the flaws unless they're pointed out to them).

Are you referring to the JL Extractor? Because there is a guy in northern minnesota who makes one that looks awfully simliar, but it's not the same thing! (he does good work, but I'm personally just not a huge fan of his extractor-style hood vent when compared to Rockcrawl's).

Zoom - Been there, done that (from more than one email account). Was giving it one last shot in case the forum was the best method of contact. Guess I'll go an alternate route.
