Bump. Oh, and does anyone have an install thread on one of these? How difficult is it?

Thanks for the references... I did install mine myself - which is why it's not 100% flawless... but most people will tell you that it's certainly good enough (many don't see the flaws unless they're pointed out to them).

note: revised photo posted 12-2-05

This is probably the most thorough install thread I've seen on this style scoop (thanks to Zoom88)
https://www.fiero.nl/forum/Archives/Archive-000001/HTML/20050119-2-055514.html

And it also references Rockcrawl's original install web page (although I think the link is now just a redirect).

I also think this is the best hood vent yet. The only thing I would do to my next hood would be to make this vent larger. It is just a little narrow.

Thanks for the compliments.

I just sold the last of them a few weeks ago, but I have more being made. It may take a week or two. Anyone interested should send an email to rockcrawl@fieroaddiction.com and I will reply when I have one available for you.

Are you referring to the JL Extractor? Because there is a guy in northern minnesota who makes one that looks awfully simliar, but it's not the same thing! (he does good work, but I'm personally just not a huge fan of his extractor-style hood vent when compared to Rockcrawl's).

Zoom - Been there, done that (from more than one email account). Was giving it one last shot in case the forum was the best method of contact. Guess I'll go an alternate route.
