Both Crane Cams and Competition Cams make roller rockers for this motor. Crane Cams produces the affordable Magnum Roller Rocker, which I installed, as well as the Gold Race full roller rocker. At twice the price, it offers twice the zoot, using needle bearings for the fulcrum, an aluminum body, and replacement studs (the 2.8 used 10mm vs. the more common 3/8"). The full bearings certainly decrease friction, but the power gains over the Magnum are less obvious as stated here: http://www.4x4wire.com/tech...reeV6/powertrix2.htm

You need "narrow body" rockers. If you get some with the 3/8 in. Stud Mount then to need the stud mount adapters that are 10mm on one end to mount into the head then 3/8 in. on the other to mount the rocker. I may have the p/n's that I used in my "Project 3400 roller cam" thread...

You want the Scorpion fuller roller , narrow body, center mount 1.6 rockers. You'll want the ARP studs that convert the threads to standard Chevy threads.
To be cost effective, in my opion, roller rockers are something to consider only if you're building a very high output engine. One with say, a steel crank, forged pistons, wild cam, head work, headers, dif intake and such.

Exactly this. Most everyone else talking about how you can get them anywhere has not done it. you need Narrow body ones to clear everything, there are not many suppliers and nothing Summit racing sells will fit. Scorpion mentioned above is one of the only ones that fit well and have a decent price.
Been there done that. Gave up and went to stamped roller tips because the gains from full rollers is not worth paying the premium for the correct full rollers. Spend the money elsewhere where it makes a difference. the ONLY reason for roller rockers is a very high lift of the valves, I.E. you are using 1.6 rockers and a very aggressive cam.
Oh and after seeing what happens when a roller rocker comes apart at 5000rpm, I'll never put roller rockers or roller tipped rockers in an engine for the street again. Track where you tear it down a lot and have a racing cam plus insane valve lift? yes. an engine I want to last another 140,000 miles? nope.
