I recently bought a notchback deck lock from FieroStore. I have the 84 model with stock decklid with the power unlock. Since the housing between the fiberglass lid and the power lock that holds the lock is rivetted to the lid, how do I go about putting in the lock?

Also, where can I get the shaft that connect the power lock to the back of the lock, and the clip that screws in to hold the lock?

I just removed my decklid lock to have the car painted. I cant remember to save my neck how I did it but I do know you don't have to drill out the rivets.
Now getting it back in may be a different story. I have that yet to do.

Yea, thats the clip thing I need. Know of where I can get a replacement? When I got my Fiero there was no lock, clip, or shaft to be found in the car.

(Now I just use lock switch or a butterknife to open it up, and that gets some stares.)
