Does anyone know the GM part number for the 87-88 headlight controller, the box that hides under the left fender? I think mine has died again.

The part number is 16523917, according to Ogre http://home.comcast.net/~fierocave/hlmotor.htm

You can also replace the module with a used one or repair yours by replacing the fusible links inside the module. See https://www.fiero.nl/forum/Archives/Archive-000001/HTML/20040710-2-046566.html

Go with a used one or fix yours if you can. They aren't cheap.

If the doors aren't opening... try the tests in my cave before you mess with the module. If the motors are binding too much the controller will shut them off instantly when you try to run them. This usually happens with the lights fully up or down.
