The 2020 Electric Mustang Mach E (Page 1/2)

They ruined it.

It looks like an SUV except it doesn't even look sporty.

To me, it makes no sense to call it "Mustang", but I'm sure they did a lot of focus groups and marketing studies. That's how we end up with things like Beta O'rourke.

Nowadays, SUV translates to station wagon.

It IS an SUV and was always intended to be. They just used the Mustang name and logo to generate attention.

Make an electric Mustang, not call the new Edge E the millennial version of deflection. This takes sheep to the next level. Plastic Media BS.

I love Mustangs. Always have, always will.

Remember this? This was supposed to be the new Mustang.

You would think they learned from the Edsal.

I can remember when the Mustang was first introduced. It was the coolest thing on rubber even though it was really just a dressed up Falcon.
Ford also used the Falcon name on a van. Everything new is old again.

I have a great dog named Clyde. Been loyal and all that a man could want. The Wife will get a puppy this spring. We will not name this new puppy the Clyde E.

I'm sure those who just dropped 90K plus on a GT500 are as pleased as they can be to be sharing the name with that ugly piece of poop.

....especially when it outruns them.

Remember the only car Ford is making now is the Mustang, so I can see them using the name. It does resemble the Mustang cars front and rear to a point.

Edsels were cool cars. Not everyone liked the grill, but it was as reliable as any Ford was. The only real problem was the touch button steering wheel trans controls...but you could get it without that. It was just a regular Ford Ford-a-Matic/ Cruise-a-Matic auto trans. I had a 59 convertible and a 59 Villager wagon. both ran fast and trouble free. Wagon was exactly like this one, same colors. 360 ci Lincoln engine w/ 2 4bbls. The look you loved or hated is what killed it.
