They have been talking about this for weeks now. The first time I read about it, they also mentioned that the number of cases of inflammation is not any worse than one might expect, even without the vaccine. (Which was alluded to, above.) But the people who need something to freak out about, will latch onto this, the same as they do with everything else. |

It's now said to be occurring about twice as much after vaccination as compared to people of the same age group who have not been vaccinated.
226 cases of myocarditis in people under age 30 are reported out of 141,000,000 people of all ages that have been
at least partially fully vaccinated. Of those 226 cases, about 1/2 were under age 20, with most age 12-14.
The expected number of cases of myocarditis in that age group was about 100.
Over 1/2 of the US 331,449,281 population (165,724,640) has received at least 1 dose.
Of the age groups involved with 226 cases of myocarditis, under 12 to age 39:
37,719 people under 12 have been fully vaccinated.
1, 233,021 people ages 12-15 years old have been fully vaccinated.
2,,085,725 people 16-17 yrs old have been fully vaccinated.
9,549,219 people ages 18-24 old have been fully vaccinated.
25,441,920 people ages 25-39 have been fully vaccinated.
