I remember growing up and the thunder was so loud, I don't remember the lightning but the thunder is something I will never forget.

A little, no ground-shakers.
I must have gotten used to it. Unless it literally shakes a brick house, its not really thunder.
The old farm I used to be able to see the lake area and could sit in the garage watching waterspouts. I'm in a valley here so cant really see them unless I go down to the marina or something.

But I did fly a piper 2-motor right iclose one of those, 20 feet off the water. For pictures.
Thought better of that idea and got the hell out of there.....Screw that...
