Hey Doucebag (and all your purposely obtuse worshipers), remind me again how Russia is our friend now, and would never do anything to hurt/interfere with The United States?
Wait, let me guess...fake news again.

Pick Your Blindness:

So, what's the going rate for souls, nowadays?
I'm betting it's not as much of a "sellers" market as it was 1,253 days ago.

I can't wait for all the do-gooders to start wailing about how they were "misled".
Please.
Even a moron could have seen the signs.
In fact, I did.

Remind me again when he said Russia was our friend? Every quote I look up says he wants better relations with Russia as opposed to the horrible relations we have now. Russia is not our friend and never has been. Where the hell do you get off saying stupid **** like this?

Russia hasn't been our ally since before WW2. I'm not aware of anyone stating that Russia is our friend.

Consequently... the vast majority of what is going on right now is being perpetuated by Russian, Iranian, and Chinese propaganda.

https://blog.twitter.com/en...tions-june-2020.html

EDIT: Incidentally, I'd like to add that Democrats have for a long time been stating that Russia is not as bad as we have been saying. Ronald Reagan literally won against Carter by stating the Russians are an evil empire. When Obama was president, everyone laughed at Romney when he stated that Russia was still our biggest threat.

He is Boondawg.

Did he question the story ? Not likely. Is he worried about Russian influence in our elections ? Not likely.

Well, they were allies, but we were suspicious of them. I'm not sure we could have won the war without them. They took more than half the combat deaths on the allied side. But I was talking about before WW2. We were generally allies, and they even supported us during the Revolutionary war, and parked ships in union harbors during the Civil War. While I can't remember reading anything about them firing a shot, I did remember watching on the History channel that we credit their presence as a deterrence for what would have been many more attacks on union bases.

Russia was an "ally" only AFTER the Nazis broke their "ally" agreement with the Soviets and attacked them on Sunday, 22 June 1941.

A good bit of WW2 in Europe was a "turf war" between German Marxists, (National Socialists) and Russian Marxists.

American Revolutionary War, American Civil War you say? Yup they did all you say , and more. They even fought against Germany alongside France and the UK in World War 1

Russia was lot different before the 1918 Bolshevik Communist revolution

"We', have paid 'allies' for decades to kill our enemies. CIA/Green Berets paid the Montagnards, DoD hired Blackwater, a lot of the Guantanamo prisoners were handed over to the US by privateers and paid a bounty, DoD paid the Kurds to fight ISIS, and then of course, there is this:
https://historycollection.c...-booming-business/2/

Pancho Villa crossed the border in the year of ought sixteen
The people of Columbus still hear him riding through their dreams
He killed seventeen civilians you could hear the women scream
Blackjack Pershing on a dancing horse was waiting in the wings

Tonight we ride, tonight we ride
We'll skin ole Pancho Villa, make chaps out of his hide
Shoot his horse, Siete Leguas, and his twenty-seven bride

Tonight we ride, tonight we ride
We rode for three long years till Pershing called it quits
When Jackie wasn't lookin' I stole his fine spade bit
It was tied upon his stallion, so I rode away on it
To the wild Chihuahuan desert, so dry you couldn't spit

Tonight we ride, you bastards dare
We'll kill the wild Apache for the bounty on his hair
Then we'll ride into Durango, climb up the whorehouse stairs
Tonight we ride, Tonight we ride

When I'm too damn old to sit a horse, I'll steal the warden's car
Break my ass out of this prison, leave my teeth there in a jar
You don't need no teeth for kissin' gals or smokin' cheap cigars
I'll sleep with one eye open, 'neath God's celestial stars

Tonight we rock, Tonight we roll
We'll rob the Juarez liquor store for the Reposado Gold
And if we drink ourselves to death, ain't that the cowboy way to go?

Tonight we ride, tonight we ride
Tonight we fly, we're headin' west
Toward the mountains and the ocean where the eagle makes his nest
If our bones bleach on the desert, we'll consider we are blessed
Tonight we ride, Tonight we ride
Tonight we ride, tonight we ride.

Does President Trump know this?

Again, Russia ("freely elected" Vladimir Putin) is paying to have U.S. Troops (our sons & daughters) killed.
Not much wiggle-room there.

You know, for someone who claims to be so intelligent, you seem to lack a lot of knowledge. Yes, Russia considers us our adversary. Vladimir's greatest regret is that the USSR collapsed, and he directly blames the United States for this. They are one of the top funders of propaganda in this country and on our social media platforms. The fact that you acknowledge they interfered in our elections, but seem to think they aren't all involved now is just beyond me... or perhaps that vast intellect of yours hadn't gotten around to concluding this. What you may not have realized is... while you were exposed to very obviously only ONE side of the propaganda, the propaganda was being pushed on every extreme for the sole purpose of destabilizing our country and pitting us against each other. That is the exact same thing that is being done now, but your superior intelligence is obviously too stupid to recognize this.

I believe that you're conflating the definition of mercenary with an actual nation state ally.

The bottom line is that this is just another attempt to pin something bad on Trump.
Everything BlackLivesMatter does is Trump's fault.
Everything a democrat controlled police department does is Trump's fault.
Everything a virus does is Trump's fault.
Everything some small-time Ukrainian hoodlum does is Trump's fault.
Now, everything Putin has ever done is Trump's fault.
I'm pretty sure Trump had something to do with the Permian Extinction.

This is the very thing I first thought of when I read the first sentence of this topic. So I have to assume that this is an Anti-Biden thread?

I don't know what that nation state called them but I know what they referred to themselves as.
They hated the ARVN almost as much as they hated the NVA and would shoot either one if they could get away with it.
My closest friend (he and I enlisted under the 'buddy program") worked with the Kit Carson Scouts,(I think 1st btn/7th Marines) which were the Chieu Hoi (NVA that came over to 'our side) and they were the same way. They'd fight, but had to be paid.

It was reported this morning that the New York Times story alleging that Russia paid to have US personnel killed has been refuted. The US Intelligence community stated they have found no credible evidence that this is true.

Quote:
“Intel just reported to me that they did not find this info credible, and therefore did not report it to me or @VP. Possibly another fabricated Russia Hoax, maybe by the Fake News @NYTimesbnooks, wanting to make Republicans look bad.”

TASS, the state news agency, reported that the Russian Foreign Ministry called the reports “information fakes.” A Taliban spokesman also denied any truth to the report.

You can get your "News" from Fox and America One....Or just go straight to the (Russian soap) source; TASS. Most Evangelical Christians in America now think Russia is "The only Christian country" and that Vlad is the "Greatest Christian leader in the world"....Two of my extremely conservative friends told me that the constitution is wrong because it doesn't allow us to vote for a foreigner for president; Putin

One of my Hyper-conservative friends actually stated that "It will be good if America collapses- then Russia can take over and make the world safe for Christianity!"

Can you guys feel the knife stuck in your back? (It is Russian steel.....)

Can't tell if you are joking but I have to say that isn't true. I have never heard anyone say Putin is a Christian. Conservatives do not want Russia to take over, that is pure crazy talk.

Looks like the New York Slimes simply decided to dredge up an old MSLSD story from 10 YEARS AGO during the OBAMA administration, change Iran to Russia and all the names to "anonymous sources" (a/k/a none ), and rerun it as propaganda to try to keep the bullshit "RUSSIA RUSSIA RUSSIA" narrative alive.

Well. there are- everyone who listens to Sean Hannity and Tucker Carlson love Russia, and Putin.....

Putin controls content on Fox and OAN.....And most evangelicals want a Christian Theocracy running the world.....And they think that Russia is the "Only Christian country in the world"...So now I have some of my conservative friends saying really stupid **** .

How about "Hillary controls the whole country thru her deep state" and "Anyone who disagrees with Trump is a traitor who should be eliminated"....Trump is trying to surround himself with "Yes-men"....That has always worked out well as a form of government.....

Here is a question; Since 2015 we have had a lot of mass shootings....My liberal dumb-azz friends keep saying "Too many guns in the wrong hands!" but the numbers haven't changed that much since earlier.....I wonder if certain external government entities have been pushing for for more mass shootings......

Also, why is it that Russia's Covid death rate is less than 1/10th what the rest of the world is suffering? The covid infection started in China...But who actually STARTED it? Cruise ships infected in the western pacific which visited china makes sense.....But why were cruise ships in the CARIBBEAN infected so quickly?

You guys all know you can trust Putin....."Right"...?

Even a moron could have seen the signs.

Good Grief, people, what a muddled mess of half-thinking this whole thread is!

The present issue (put aside Q-Anon and all the other crap):
There is clear information by now that the US intelligence committee notified the administration and Trump directly, that Russia had a "hit" bounty on American soldiers while the US and the Taliban were in peace talks. This has been ratified by numerous sources, including UK Intelligence which was also notified by our intelligence agencies.
In response, Trump issued a typical statement that he knew nothing of it and his minions claimed that there was such disagreement in the intelligence community that it did not rise to presidential notification status. Who? Trump's own apparatchiks? NO other source made this claim of confusion.
The world other than Trump accepts the 'hit contract' core of the story. All sources but Trump confirm that he was notified. What did Trump do? A flurry of long calls with Putin were logged in the days after the report. Trump made speeches in front of soldiers, insisted on a graduation address to West Point cadets, went golfing again and again, all without mention of the Russian plot. And when it hit the news, he "didn't hear about it", blamed the news, tried to raise confusion.
So tell me again why anyone supports Trump?

No there isn't.

Name the people that are presently in the US Government that specifically said this.

I support Trump because he isn't an idiot socialist Democrat who must bend the knee or suffer the wrath of the SJW religion. So which one are you?

So what if it is true ? Honest question. C'mon. THINK ! You can do it. What should Trump have done about it ? C'mon. THINK ! You can do it.
What is clear is that your President kept yet another campaign promise.

I support Trump because even with all of his flaws he is a much better candidate than Biden. AND I also support Trump because I don't believe all of the lies being told about him, I guess you do?
Trump is the most lied about President in American history mostly because the media are liberal and work for the Democrats and attempt to shame and defame Trump in an attempt to get him out. The swamp everybody talks about draining every election cycle includes the media. In part, this is why it will never be drained. The media are not an elected bunch, they are paid to make up stories about people they disagree with.
