Sure, filming a huge commercial movie is an issue due to the scope of the traffic involved, but *still shots* by you and i now require a 'license'.

I hope it gets challenged in court. That violates the 1st Amendment. It is already well established that pictures can be taken of anything in public view. Charging a fee and requiring a license is the same as prohibiting it.

Can't take a pic from my yard without getting a federally owned tree in the shot either.

Oddly enough, I can legally cut any federally owned tree limb off my fence or property overhang, but I cannot pile them up and burn them on my land--I HAVE to toss them all back over the fence and let the rot naturally---as if there aren't enough rotting decaying limbs, trees and logs laying all over the national forest already feeding several billion termites.
