I have Sumitomo tires on my del Sol and one had a slow leak that developed into a fast leak and the same tire has a small bubble on the side so I decided to get two new tires. At the tire store another tire was found to have a small bubble so those two got replaced. Tirerack is a computer tire place said to be low cost and they have descriptions of the various brands and Sumitomo is good for performance and sports cars. I have had Sumitomo on other cars too and like them. Tirerack with shipping, and mounting at their approved store near me came to $168 for two tires, size is 195 60 14. I live amongst the illegal aliens and a nearby Mexican tire store was more but said if I bought them today I could get them for $165. its all done and I'm very pleased. Had to pay $3.50 for Calif goverment environment fee and 9% sales tax is $11.68. Calif is wholly controlled by the Democrat party.
I don't need to comment on the politics, but I do have a question. I'm 6' 1" and somewhat wide in the back side. There is a Del Sol for sale near me but I'm wondering if I shouldn't even attempt to fit into one. Everyone I've talked to that had one loves it.
Walmart has "Viva II" Goodyears for 40.00 and up depending on size, in stock and ready to go. Walmart is wholly controlled by the communist Chinese. (JOKE)

I'm 6'4" and I fit fine in the Del Sol I owned for a short while. Was a fun car, just mine wasn't very well kept by the previous owner. Loved that the top removed and went in the trunk so easy, wish the roof on my fiero did that!

I had a set of those on my 97 Grand Prix. They were so thin and flexible the car squirmed everywhere.
Honda has a way of making their interior seem big on a small car. My 87 Prelude has way more interior space than a 3rd gen Camero and its a small car, even my CRX isen't confining. My del Sol is one of the nicest driving cars I have ever driven.
I'm 6'2", 210 lbs. I fit fine in my Del Sol. Headroom is better than the Fiero. The Del Sol is much narrower than the Fiero though. Not a problem with my wife and I, but when my boss (who is about the same size as me) rides with me, it feels a little "intimate". This is my 2nd Del Sol, and I sold it once and bought it back. Very fun cars. You have to have a thick skin though. A lot of "ghey" jokes from friends. In my case it's easy, as the friend who is the worst about it drives a day-glo yellow Cobalt.
After my experience with Firestone 721s, I think about the brand and quality of tires slightly more than price. The car liked to swap ends with those tires.
Great little car. Great gas mileage. I really enjoyed mine for 5 years.
Cheever3000, get a newer del SOl with the 1.6L VTEC engine, 95,96,97 model. The SOHC version is fine as the DOHC was more rare. The 1.5L non-vtec engine is less desirable. Mine leaked a little above my left leg where the targa top meets the front frame. Realize it's nickname is the del SLOW. It doesn't make much torque until 5-6k rpm when the VTEC kicks in. A turbo kit will help a bunch but you lose the A/C with the kits I viewed.
Id buy them from Tirerack even if they were much more myself. They honor warranties and American (far as I know). I wouldnt spend a dime to support illegal mexicans. IF theyre even there next month will they take care of any problems ?

He just said that he lives amongst the illegals. Not that that's who owned the store. Seems to me that you'd have to have some sort of documentation to open a business like that. You'd need to establish credit for purchasing inventory. That sort of thing.
If anything, I would be questioning how long the store had been there.
Well they dont seem to need any of the required documentation to live or work here, or to vote. They can sell cheaper because they steal the truckloads of tires moving cross country, so they have low overhead. If they do get caught, they can just claim theyre not citizens and just be deported, and come back next week

I've picked up tires all over the place in a semi, and the illegals are the ones working at the tire warehouses, plus I've never heard of a tire truck being stolen...

Truckloads of everything are stolen, from tvs and beer, to shrimp and condoms. Watch the tv show on stolen big rigs and youll be amazed at whats stolen.

Theft of trucks/fright is generally a good gig. Most freight/cargo thefts are not even felonies which is great for criminals/criminal rings where the pay off can be 50K to 1000K easily per trailer. If the can get a hundred grand froma trailer theft with little risk to themelsves (no felony) then why doens't it work for them?
Most thefts are non voilent where someone steals a truck while is a parked and unattended at a lot or a truck stop somewhere.
