I'm looking for a Remote Destop App which allows me to save the RDs as lists and allows me to sort them and jump among them and such things. I used one a few years ago, but can't recall the name.
Ditto, that's what Chris, Synthesis used to help me set up Hal and fix him when I screwed him up, drives me nuts when I am sitting here and my mouse has a mind of its own. not sure that's what you are looking for but it sure gets my vote when it comes to remote controlling another computer, I only wish I could get to do it to him when he is on hall, just to mess with him.

I keep my RDP connections simple. I have 45 RDP connections saved in a folder. They are named by environment and server. I just put them in a folder on a network drive so I can access them from anywhere on the network. No application needed.
If you are using RDP sessions already you should check out the link. You cant right click on a folder and connect to multiple machines at the same time. Synchronize login IDs and its easy to create several files depending on what you support.
Oh and for those that have 100s of computers to define. You can import a list of servers from a text file. No more VBS scripts to create the connections.

Score another for Teamviewer. You can log in to your free account on the web and have all kinds of neat features, TV Pro has even more features and controls. TV also recently launched what they call 'IT Brain', it allows remote monitoring of computers for just about everything, but it does cost money. If you have a budget, Logmein Central is also a pretty kickass option. It allows remote monitoring of just about everything going on with the computer, from app updates, installed programs, memory usage, disk health, and a bunch of other things I really don't want to type out.
All of the paid options above have 7-30 day free trials, so you can use them and find out if it's what you want or not.
I support 400+ servers and this is my main tool. Even remote access its my go to after I connect VPN.
That's ten times more than I'd like to handle. I've done it, but I prefer to split my time between servers and desktops. Because I love people. Yeah that's it...
I use this one for all of our servers at work. In fact, once one of the Developers saw me with it, they had to have it. We now have 30+ people using it here in the office.
It supports multiple protocols, including PuTTY, VNC, etc all from one simple interface.
I have approximately 240 servers listed in it, sorted by site (root folder) and then alphabetically inside of that. There is no limit to the sorting/categorization.

One of the things I like is the thumb nails. So you can connect to several servers and watch all of them in the thumbnails.

Interesting, I have not heard of this one before. Will have to take a look. Is it stand alone or does it make call home and if it cant call home will it stop working?

Standalone, no call home. Free. Works great. I do like the multiple "mini-thumbnails" in the Remote Desktop Connection Manager app. This does not have that, but it does have tabbed connections at the top. Once you connect, you get a new tab at the top. I "copy/paste" between RDP sessions all the time with it.
