Not really, 'good' fuel tanks are still available, BUT
shipping is the 'real' issue.....

| quote | Larry Hubbert: I have one here in Holiday, FL 34691 that has been cleaned and painted and ready to use. The big problem is shipping them and what you need to do just to get the EPA permit to ship them because they are not brand new fuel tanks. Also for your information an 88 Fuel tank will fit into an earlier Fiero if you have a set of 88 tank straps and the 88 cross bracket plate.
The EPA has some very stringent and steep regulations where shipping these are concerned, as well as securing a legitimate permit to do so. Now should you get caught shipping a used fuel tank the fine is a killer, plus you can be subject to immediate arrest, and the tank is immediately confiscated as it is considered shipping Hazardous Materials.
