Wow, these cars are great on gas, I’ve been driving around and the gage still shows it’s “beyond full”

Any way to get that thing unstuck without having to crack open the dash?

A bit of the ole “percussive maintainence”, perhaps?

Likely has problems w/ wiring to or Sender itself.
Same "peg" gauge problem w/ oil pressure and engine temp gauges.

Unplug C502 in engine bay to tank and jump pink and black wires. Should read Empty.
Is on firewall below wiring bulkhead but If has V6, is hard to reach because below front exhaust parts too.

Thanks for your reply. It IS a V6. Oil gage tends to dance around randomly too.

Drove it for awhile today, and it eventually popped down and showed its proper fuel level.

If the Needle Sticks again, (assuming it stuck in that position even with the power off) you can try waving a magnet over the needle to free it. Worked for me a couple of times.

Fuel level is Not like Temp gauge that pegs while started.
Oil or Fuel pegs is a electric problem.

So Is more likely whenever was open shut closed for now and can go open again w/o warning.
