OK apparently theres no replacement for the 1986 V6 for FUEL sending unit?
Sending unit is out of the tank. Testing it. My current fuel gauge pins the needle waaaay passed full so the needle is horizontal and when at completely empty, it reads 1/4 tank.

How do I fix his? Took it apart, tried cleaning it with brake cleaner, no change. Is there a compatible replacement or calibration technique?
Thanks

Ronald Finger also modified a generic one to work with his build. The videos are on youtube. Great series!
