As I think about the little items I want to address on the GT when I break her out in just a few months, the door locks came to mind. The door locks sometimes need a couple clicks to get the latch to fully lock. I took everything apart a couple years ago, cleaned and oiled the latches; however, it still has the same issue. It might be that I just need to replace the door lock actuators, but I got to thinking about slow windows. What does anyone thing about using a relay or something like Rodney has here http://rodneydickman.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=21&products_id=271 for the window helpers? It would be ensuring that the full 12volts goes to the actuator. Before I try something like this I was hoping to get some thoughts.

If your locks are sticking I'd bet your linkages are bent. It takes some time to adjust correctly, but taking the door panel off in the fiero basically bends that linkage arm every time. I'd look into straightening your linkages.

Not really.

Bent links, rust, and more can cause lock problems.
