So I can say I contributed and not just ask questions. For what it's worth. Installed an arraut motorsports sport suspension, I purchased from a second party, in an 87 gt w/ 17" wheels. To get enough travel in the suspension the front end sat too high. Arraut recommended drop spindles for $550. I didn't want to spend that amount so I tried Rodney Dickman's 1" drop balljoints for $70 a set. The combo has worked out well so far. The handling is improved by the new suspension and the new balljoints allows me a nice ride at a nice ride height. Jeb

Thank you for the info. I have heard that suspension is the way to go on pre 88's.

Thanks for the heads-up. I'm seriously considering their sport front suspension, and thought of using Rodney's balljoints with it, as well.

The "Sport" suspension is just like RCC's except the lower A-arm is sturdier since it doesn't have the adjustable side to it.

I'm using the old HELD SLALOM front suspension and I know there's been minor improvements to it over the years but I hope new designs include travel stops... Also, it seems to reduce my turn radius...but that may be due to my wide wheels...
