Hi
Can anyone confirm that this is a capacitor for a 4.9? It is connected to the
distributor and attached to the engine. I cannot find the part listed for a 4.9.
Where can I find this part? What is it called? I tried using the terms condensor and capacitor but nothing comes up for the 4.9.

Looks like a tach filter, as installed on a stock Fiero engine.

Yes, it is the 2.8 tach filter.
I have never used it on any 4.3, 4.9, SBC or LS4 swap when wiring up the tach.
