Hey all, I have checked out the wheel/tire size chart and I am looking at 4 18 inch rims with 225/40 tires on it. It says the speedo will be off by a nice bit but would I have any other issue?

Fit/clearance will depend on wheel offset.

You need the famous 'Joe Torma' Chart!

I have 235/45R17 93H tire's on 17's an thay fit nice. Some tim's thay will rub, but only on a hard turn a round or big bump in the road.

The points to check on rubbing are the fronts when turned all the way to lock, especially backing up. The rears check for the clearance at the spring/strut on the inside. Even if its just 1/4", thats enough. Not much you can do for the rears, but you can make a stop for the front to limit how far it turns before locking. I had 8x16s on my Ferrari kit and had to grind slightly on the lips of the front A arms to get 1/8" clearance.

I have 18x8 w/38 mm offset running 225/40/18 on all four corners with no problems. They fit with stock brakes and ride height. I now run Eibach lowering springs and a c4 brake conversion with no issues. Plan on switching to a 9.5" rear this year with a 265/35/18.
