I have a gen 1 headlight system and I was going to replace it two a gen 2 system and I think I will stay away on that for now for cost reasons. Previous owner had the headlights hooked up to a switch to make the headlights to go up, but not to go down. What kind of switch do I need to make them go down?

Joking aside when you upgrade you will be removing all the front harness and probably the previous owners handywork. It not a hard job to do. Of course you need 2 87-88 motors.

To make the headlights go up and down with any old switch, I am not ready to switch to a GEN 2 headlight system yet. There is a switch there now but it only makes the headlights go up not down. If I was to use a DPDT rocker switch that should make them go up and down...correct?
