Does Timken make a rear main seal for the 2.8 V6? Any idea what the part number is?

If not, what brand of seal would be my next best option?

I tried there first but there was no link to their seals. Only links to their bearings.

I think both national, federal mogul and victor make seals and gaskets. I've used main seals from federal mogul in the past. Be sure to clean the metal around the seal with a solvent like acetone, then use Permatex form-a-gasket 515 or 518 (one is non hardening) to seal the interface between the metal and seal. Works well in my experience.

Just to follow up. That was the correct seal for the rear main. It went in very easily after being kept in the fridge for a week then in the freezer over night before installation. The original was difficult to get out. It came out in pieces. I may still have a slight leak but it is so much better than before. No regrets.
